How RSVP works
Simply decide what mobile promotion(s) you would like to offer. Create your promotion(s) with GossRSVP and obtain a unique RSVP code. Place the code in your print ad and as consumers respond to your code, prompt feedback will be provided.

What can I do with RSVP Codes?

  • Create mobile promotions such as text coupons & text-to-win programs
  • Offer additional information on a product or service
  • Provide a web address, directions to your location, or video on your services
  • Offer text alerts on daily specials at your business
  • Offer picture links, and "more story" links for any printed feature
  • Take a poll, opinion survey, or simply gather consumer feedback
The possibilities are endless!

Goss anticipates that future capabilities will allow advertisers to create a Loyalty Program from print campaigns, transfer Loyalty Points to an existing program, send e-mail promotions, send home mail & third party promotions, etc.

With your campaign defined, the GossRSVP system will provide you with a unique RSVP promotion code to place with your print ad, article, editorial, classified, or other print feature. Simple wording within your ad explaining what is offered engages the consumer to interact with your promotion code.

When the consumer sees your RSVP promotion, they simply text message the promotion code to 64842. Your offer is immediately sent to the consumer, and you are notified of a response.

A consumer can only submit a promotion code once from any one mobile phone number. An additional submission will result in a standard reply; "Sorry our system indicates you have already participated in this promotion."

Promotions can also be set up to allow multi-opt-ins by the same consumer.

Consumer use of RSVP Codes

Text Messaging Method(for use with all phones)
Each of your promotions receives a unique code which is printed below the 2-D barcode. Consumers simply send in the code via a text message to 64842.

Example: To receive this 20% off coupon, text promo code to 64842*.

The promotion is immediately returned to the consumer's mobile phone via a text message. The message is automatically stored on their phone and the consumer can use it at their convenience or within your designated expiration date. There is no charge to the consumer to use GossRSVP beyond any standard text messaging rates that may apply.

Text messaging of RSVP Codes is available on most phones sold today. Text messaging is made even easier with a GossRSVP software that you can download to your phone. See additional features below.

(* standard text messaging rates may apply)

Phone w/Software Method (for phones without or with a camera)
By downloading the RSVP Phone software, the promotion code can be typed or scanned to submit it to the RSVP Server.

The scan mode utilizes the 2D barcode, which contains the unique seven digit alphanumeric promotion code. The RSVP software allows the camera to act as a scanner and submits the code to GossRSVP System.

The GossRSVP system receives the message from the consumer's phone containing their cell phone number, and the promotion code. A non interactive account is set up for them identified by their cell phone number, and your fulfillment message or offer is sent back to their phone.

For additional information on GossRSVP software, go to www.myrsvprewards.com and go to the Download Section.

Advertisers who create a GossRSVP promotion, will have the ability to track the responses to their print campaign.
